New Jersey Cricket Council Umpires Association (NJCCUA)

New Jersey Cricket Council Umpires Association (NJCCUA) has been created to serve the increasing need of highly qualified Umpires across the USA and particularly in the state of NJ. We are proud to announce that NJ Cricket Council Umpires Association is a recognized association affiliated with United States of America Cricket Umpires Association (USACUA) which is the national umbrella organization of Umpires’ Associations and/or individual umpires, with responsibility for training and assessment of umpires nationwide.

One of the main objectives of this association is to increase the number of certified Umpires throughout the state of NJ. This will be accomplished by working closely with USACUA in imparting Training and conducting Umpires Certification Examinations on behalf of USACUA and West Indies Cricket Umpires Association (WICUA). We are the membership organization responsible for the recruitment, training and development of all cricket umpires across the Garden State.

One’s lack of knowledge of the laws may lead to disrepute, misunderstand and discord. Our aim is to also enhance a working relationship with leaders of the leagues, clubs, cricket teams and any other cricket organization, including lovers of the sport in the US cricket community.
